Silver, cast, embossed, engraved and gilded. The bodies of the birds are each made from an ostrich egg, the birds are naturalistically crafted from silver with rich plumage. Stand decorated with foliage. German hallmarks, 800 standard, company logo: a flower. Tog. circa 2976 grams. Minor wear.
Franconian private collection. Acquired from the descendants of the Schlingloff company. According to the consignors, only 10 ostriches of this type were made.
